A long lunch on the coast, in Marylebone
Olivetta opened in 2018 on Marylebone High Street, with a simple wish: that an evening out could feel like a long lunch on the Mediterranean coast. Terracotta, linen and candlelight — somewhere you actually want to linger.
Years on, that’s still the whole idea. Mezze for the middle of the table, pasta rolled by hand each morning, whole fish and slow meats from the wood fire, and a long Italian and Greek wine list. We take our time, and we never rush a table.
And when the kitchen is closed, Marco — our AI reservations host — keeps the door open. Book a table, ask about the menu, or send a question at any hour, and a real person picks it up the next morning.

Opened Olivetta in 2018 on one idea: a restaurant should feel like a long lunch on the coast. Known for a warm welcome and never rushing a table.
- Yannis PetrouHead chef
Cooks the Mediterranean he grew up with — mezze, the wood fire, whole fish. Believes the best dish is the one that tastes of where it came from.
- Luca BianchiPasta chef
Rolls and cuts the pasta by hand every morning. Twelve years in Italian kitchens and famous for keeping things gloriously simple.
- Priya AnandSommelier
Keeps our Italian and Greek wine list honest and generous. Calm, curious, and quietly brilliant at finding the bottle for your table.
The newest member of the team — answering messages and managing the book around the clock, so the floor and the kitchen can focus on you at the table.
